About

Melody Pruett is the mother of 4 children and a grandmother of 9. She was a teacher for 21 years and a Child Nutrition Director for 9 years. She enjoyed helping children to learn and be their best in school for a successful future. Her motto for life, which she shares with most everyone she meets, is “Take what you are doing and Make it Better!”

She enjoys cooking, singing, spending time with her children and grandchildren, swimming, and traveling. She is looking forward to visiting places that she has never been to which are on her bucket list.

She has been on two mission trips where she went cave tubing and ziplining over an active volcano in Nicaragua. (No lava was visible due to the heavy tropical vegetation.)

She looks forward to helping others to take what they are doing and make it better and helping people who are challenged with Selective Mutism. Also, she wants to help family members or care givers. This is Melody’s first book and she hopes to complete another in the near future!
